If I was a local, this would be my place. It's one of the very few affordable places in Big Sur. That's what first attracted us. Then I saw the beer list. Yes, yes please. A handful of good taps and many bottles, plenty of local Northern California represented.

This is my #1 stop to get a cold beer after a hot hike in the wilderness of Big Sur. The bar food at Maiden Publick House is on point, the chicken wings are always a solid choice and so are the fried mac and cheese bites. They have an array of beer to choose from featuring regional drinks on tap and seasonal specials too.
